Larisha Rathod Is a Registered Remedial Massage therapist with Massage Aotearoa New Zealand. She enjoys working with athletes and injuries, seeing improvements and helping people achieve their fitness goals.  

As a therapist, understanding how stress plays a major influence on our physical and psychological state is important to Larisha. Connecting relaxation, massage and breath work to release the physical and emotional tension we store in our bodies is at the very core of her therapeutic approach.​

Larisha became passionate about massage therapy while playing competitive squash where she incurred a painful five-year-long shoulder injury. Researching and relying on massage therapy as pain relief helped while she continued to play.  Realising that she could help others in similar situations encouraged her to pursue massage therapy as a career.
